St. Margaret's Hospice Project Manager
Kate will be leading the project on a day to day basis, co-ordinating the various activities and liaising with our delivery partners.
Kate has a wealth of experience having held both senior nursing and management roles. As a former director of operations for community healthcare services Kate led a number of high profile complex projects. She now runs her own consultancy business and is a Care Quality Commission specialist advisor.
Kate says: "I know staff within the organisation are seen to embrace change that meets the needs of its patients, their carers' and family and the wider community. St. Margaret's has many supporters and I fully recognise that the support of key stakeholders will be critical to the successful review and future sustainability of any agreed service delivery model."
"My background knowledge and experience will help support the 'Fit for Future' Review Panel through the review process. I will manage the project, working closely with Panel Members and the external marketing research company who will be gathering stakeholder views and providing care model options for the panel to consider."
"This is a very exciting time and I look forward to meeting and working with those who support and share the passion and drive in improving end of life care for the people of Somerset."
